(Anime) Nova is the "shadow of Hikaru's heart", created unbeknownst to Hikaru from the grief and self-loathing Hikaru felt at Emeraude's death. When Hikaru returns to Earth, Nova is left all alone to wander Cephiro until Debonair takes her in as an adopted "daughter". Moreover, she is actually part of Hikaru's heart, and the two are connected mystically and emotionally. In the end, Hikaru realizes that self-hatred brough upon all this pain for her and her friends, accepts Nova for who she is, and learns to like herself. At this point, Nova is introduced back into Hikaru ("Okaeri [welcome home], Nova" and "Tadaima [I'm back], Hikaru"), and the two broken halves once again becomes a whole. [ back to FAQ7 ] |
