The Magic Knight RayEarth Frequently Asked Questions Is Presea in RE2 really Presea? (Anime) No. It's her sister Sierra, who tries for most of the series to cling to Presea's name out of a sense of sisterly love. In truth, Sierra isn't Presea's equal as an Artisan ("Soushi", or "Faru" [or Pharle (Fuu's scriptz) or Artisan (MixxZine)] in CLAMP's nomenclature), but she is at least good enough to recall Hikaru's sword after it becomes broken. I believe part of Sierra's reasoning behind pretending to be Presea was that she didn't want to see the Magic Knights distraught (as they probably feel that Presea's death in ep.6 of the first series was their fault). Sierra has a small scar on her chest (as noted by Caldina in the [infamous?] bath scene), and she also has a crush on Clef like her late twin. [ back to FAQ7 ] |
