Hikaru by Shandra Back in Tokyo. Hikaru's three older brothers Masaru, Kakeru, and Satoru all notice a difference in their only sister. Masaru and Kakeru look worried (and somewhat overprotective) in their speculations, but Satoru advises Hikaru that she should just go with what she decided. Umi's sadness is noted by her lovey-dovey parents who think she's just in love... Fuu's older sister Kuu also notes the change in the Magic Knight. Kuu smiles at Fuu, saying that she is all right as long as Fuu has friends to share the pain. Back at the tower, the three talk about their experiences in Cephiro. Hikaru mentions that she never knew why Zagato raised havoc, why Emeraude really summoned the Magic Knights. The three agree that they want to go to Cephiro again to do their best for the country that they fought for.... and a light envelops them. They fall through, and emerge in a ruined land where one castle, surrounded by a barrier, is the only sign of civilization.... when they are saved by Fyula who takes them to the castle. At the gate, Presea awaits, and apologizes to the girls for making them fight a hard battle. She leads them into the main room, where Clef also apologizes. Hikaru, Umi, Fuu by Sailor Neptune The girls start to say that they couldn't do anything for the country during the fight, when they are countered with a big "no" from the prince—Ferio. He tells the girls that Emeraude was truly happy at the moment of her death, and that he heard her say "tell the Magic Knights I'm sorry and Thank You." Clef then explains the current situation: that Cephiro would crumble and disappear if a new Pillar was not found—the castle was created by those with strong Will, but it would not last long. Then he shows three spaceships. Autozam. Fahren. Chizeta. The three countries that created Roads to Cephiro once Emeraude passed away in hopes of becoming the new Pillar. Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu decide that they want to fight for Cephiro again, despite the fact that they do not know who summoned them. Presea gives them their EskudoSwords, and Clef gives them new armor (and magic, of course). The Mashins sense the Magic Knights, and the girls vow to fight for Cephiro. Ferio and Mokona(s) by Belinda Sin As the girls are standing above the castle, the scene switches to the interior of the Autozam ship NSX. Zazu is excited about seeing mechas (Mashins), and Eagle decides to check them out with his FTO. The skirmish between the Knights and the mecha is broken up by a man on horseback accompanied by a pixie. Eagle disappears. Umi tries to follow Eagle into the Road, but cannot enter. The girls return to the castle, where Mokona leads them into a room where Caldina, Lafarga, and Ascot await. It is here that the girls find out that the mysterious horseman is Zagato's little brother Lantis, who left Cephiro long before the battle and mysteriously returned right after Emeraude's death—from Autozam. That night, Umi goes to Clef's room out of insomnia. She apologizes for being so bitchy in the beginning, and he tells her that it wasn't her fault—that he had been wanting to thank them for what they did. Fuu slips out of the bedroom and stares out a window. Ferio walks by and asks if she is all right. She also apologizes for her rash behavior, and is pardoned. He hands her the earring again, saying that when the Knights returned to Tokyo, the ring was back in his possession. Fuu counters that she can't accept his sister's ring, but he says that she probably wanted him to give to someone that he could be happy with. Now, Hikaru wakes up and notes that neither Fuu or Umi is in the room. So she now slips out (leaving a dreaming Mokona in the bed) and goes on a walk, doubting the Pillar system. In one of the garden rooms, she bumps into Lantis. Primera by Whimmzey She begs him to hurt her and only her—to leave the other two Knights alone. But he replies that he has no intensions of hurting her—when Primera interrupts and says that she is not a nice person against rivals for Lantis's affection. Meanwhile, Eagle faints back in the NSX from overuse of mental energy. The scene shifts to Fahren's Doumu, then to Chizeta's Bravada. Both Asuka and Tarta swear that Cephiro will be theirs (Asuka to make candy-land, Tarta to get more land for their country). The Magic Knights are lounging back in the castle when a part of Cephiro erodes away. They ask Clef how a Pillar is chosen. He replies that the Pillar must find the Path to the Pillar and accept the Challenge. The Mashins warn them of new threats, and the girls depart. The last scene shows Lantis swearing that he will end the Legend of the Magic Knights with his own hands.
