Probably when Umi chases Mokona with the mallet... a close second would be when Presea is discussing torturing Mokona and the Magic Knights.

Any punishment scene where see Mokona getting his ears stretched... and her "Ho ho ho ho ho!" during that scene.

Favorite scene from the anime I'd have to say the part where Eagle breaks out of the little holding cell they have set up for him. I was practically cheering. (anime ep #42) Most poignant scene for me would be the sad look on Hikaru's face when she had to kill "Hikari" (anime, ep #5).

End of RE2-1 wheere Lantis remembers the scene where Emeraude overhears Zagato confessing to his brother his love for her

"Do you feel a power in you? A power that wasn't there before? That's your magic." <----Clef's pickup line. ^_^ (heh!)

I'm kinda partial to the scene where Umi-chan slaps Ascot's face off for being a stupid git by constantly setting his monsters on them. ^_* (anime, ep #12)

"We are taller than you!" or something like that said by Umi-chan to Clef-san. (anime, ep #1 ... or RE1-1)

when Hikaru first met Eagle and they looked into each other's eyes (but just the eyes)

Near to the end of RE 2 where Hikaru persuades Eagle to try to live on which means to return to Cephiro with her and where they return together indeed though it was very dangerous.

FUU: "... Thank you. You saved me..." <Ferio sighs> "But... that was the first time that anyone has called me an idiot." FERIO: "You... you can make a cute smile. You looked kinda malicious a while back, but that was really cute." <Blood rises to Fuu's head> (RE1-2)

Favorite scene: when Umi chases Mokona with the mallet (anime, ep #9) and the scene where Mokona lifts Umi's skirt (anime, ep #40). Favorite quote: When Ferio givves Fuu the orb (anime ep #3) -- FERIO: "If you make a wish, then this will make your wish come true." UMI: "Why does only Fuu get a present!?" Ferio: "Why, because I love her." (plus the followup interaction between Hikaru/Umi and Fuu!)

Ending for RE2 anime, when the girls meet again at Tokyo Tower after their second summons -- they chat a bit, and suddenly a beautiful image of Cephiro appears on the tower windows.

When Eagle asks Hikaru her name -- EAGLE: "Could you please tell me your name?" HIKARU: "Hikaru. Hikaru Shidou." EAGLE: "Hikaru. That's a cute name. But I'm sorry; I have to defeat you and become Cephiro's new Pillar."

I really love the part right after Clef gives the girls their magic and Umi says, "Cool! I've always wanted to be a witch!" and Clef looks sooooo exasperated. So then he smacks her over the head with his magic staff and yells, "You fool!!" But then, I love any scene with Clef in it...

When Lantis and Hikaru are out in the rain, and he drapes his cape over her to keep her from getting wet, and Hikaru's stutterings and the gaze she gives him... (Isn't love sweet? :)

I'd have to say the 'RPG explanation' (anime, ep. 13).
Fuu: "A map display...just like a video game..."
Umi: "Weapons and armor...like a role-playing game..."
Fuu: "Save the princess and the world...Even the story is typical..."
Umi: "But this world is real...isn't it?"
Hikaru: "What is role-playing?"
Fuu: "You don't know?"
Hikaru: "No."
Fuu: "Have you ever played any video games, Hikaru?"
Hikaru: "No, never."
Umi: "Not at all?"
Hikaru: "No."
And then a quick chat topped off with a cute and funny super-deformed RPG-style picture! Kakko-ii, ne? ^_-
